Details

Get your roof box off the floor and onto the wall. This six-bracket system distributes the load across studs, holds boxes from Yakima, Thule, and similar brands, and installs with standard hardware. Width is customizable to your box.

Whether you own a Yakima, Thule, or other major brand, this system is designed to seamlessly integrate with your gear, keeping it safe from scratches and out of the way until your next road trip.

Key Features & Benefits

• Customizable Width: Because garage stud spacing varies, this kit allows you to dictate the exact width of your mount by supplying your own dowel.

• Utilizes Factory Clamps: Your cargo box already has a secure locking mechanism... this rack provides the perfect simulated crossbar for it to grab onto.

• Low-Profile Design: Keeps your box tucked tightly against the wall to maximize your garage space.

• Heavy-Duty 3D Printed Construction: Manufactured using high-strength, durable polymers designed to withstand the weight of heavy, awkward cargo boxes.

📦 What’s Included in the Box

• (6) 3D-Printed Wall Mount Brackets (supports 2 horizontal bars)

• All necessary mounting hardware (screws/screw plates) for standard wood stud installation

⚠️ IMPORTANT: What You Need to Provide

To complete this setup and customize it to your specific garage stud spacing, you must purchase two 3/4" (.75") HARDWOOD dowels (such as Oak, Maple, or Birch) cut to your required length.

• DO NOT USE SOFTWOOD (like Pine or Cedar) or plastic PVC, as these will bow or snap under the weight of the box and compromise the integrity of the mount.

Installation Requirements

For maximum safety and load capacity, the brackets must be drilled directly into your wooden wall studs. We recommend locating your studs first, determining the necessary length for your hardwood dowel, and securing three brackets per dowel for optimal weight distribution.

Why this exists

Designed around my own 60 lb roof box, load-tested and refined through real seasons of use — including the structural analysis to prove the brackets hold with margin.
